(TLN) RDR to GTA-4 Back to the Future Group Up

RocketRob99 has advised several members have asked to have a clan group up in either or both Red Dead Redemption or Grand Theft Auto-4 (GTA-4). So to answer the call of our membership we will hold a vote to confirm who would be interested and what game we should do first.

GTA-4 i need a reason to pick it up again
I have both RDR and GTA4. However, have no experience with GTA$(really haven’t played the game yet. Very experienced with RDR, deadly with double action revolver & high powered pistol
Seems I have some connection issues with large parties on Red Dead. I am betting it will be the same for GTA (Rockstar in general)

Assasin, as I said on battlelog, there is an issue with your profile and messages.. So you were right.. I am working on it with the webmasters and MDO’s to see if we can figure out what is going on..

ECHOS_OF_FIRE I own RDR except I bought the game used and now I can’t play single player part of the disk. So I want to try and see if the multiplayer part works!
That’s weird that you cannot play single player… Let us know how it works in online mode..
Alright…. You guys have given me the feedback we needed… We will hold another RDR group up event… However, to make our GTA-4 Fans happy too. We will run the events back to back.. A couple of hours in the 1800′s old west and than we will time warp to the 90′s New York City…. Should be a lot of fun… Even for those who only have one game or the other…
So we need to set day and time… So please post your preference to this thread…. If there is enough interest in either GTA-4 or Red Dead we may consider a weekly group up…

i reckon 2 Fridays a month should be good for the rdr and gta4 stuff, seeing as its a day most member’s come on to hang out, it’ll give us more games to choose from

So the event will be called “(TLN) Back to the Future Group Up”
We will start the event on date to be determined, where we will start the event in 1800′s Red Dead Redemption and than we will time travel Back to the Future to 1990′s New York City in GTA-4.
Red Dead Redemption can handle 16 players 8 v 8.. As this really isn’t as much a clan event as it is an activity in this type of thing I have no issue with TLN members on the enemy team.. Just not all the Zergs on one side.. LOL….
Now I am unsure how many GTA-4 can support so if someone has that info.. Please post…

GTA4 supports 16 players online, and Red Dead Redemption takes place in 1911
and from what i heard and i dont know for sure is that GTA4 takes place somewhere between 2002 and 2004 due to the excuse of the bridges are closed because of terrorism.
Well I checked the newsper MCMXI is the date…. GTA-4 I beg to differ, the music says all 90′s but yea, it could still be early 2000′s… Still a hell of time jump… The question, I guess is if we can get everyone into GTA4.. I do not think we will have to much issue with RDR..
yeah GTA4 might be hard to get everyone in because of the connection problems on
and some of the music is from the 80s also because “Mama by Genesis was made in 83. which is in the game.
Go to the BF3 group wall Empire.. Look at the GTA-5 Video and spot the easter eggs…
ive only got gta 4 was going to get rdr but i got skyrim and even thought its not online still a better version of the same type of game
needs to be made online though

i now own GTA 4 picked a copy up for £15, can’t complain at that at all.
