I’m going to Maryland Institute College of art to major in grahic design and while I’m in college I took a internship as a graphics design artist at bethesda until I’m out of college. Then I will be working for them as one of their level artists and love the passion that I loved for years, video games

I graduate (again) next year from my postgraduate teaching course. I graduated from the University Of Salford with a Music Degree, Majoring in Composition and Audio Production. and I’m currently training to be a Performing Arts Teacher. Which is quite interesting.

When i Graduate next year i can finally get a job in my chosen field, hopefully if there is enough interest in the course I’ll have my job by september. which will be very cool

As some of you know, I go to San Diego State, GO AZTECS! (currently kicking ass in basketball), and I’m a junior majoring in Aerospace Engineering.
I have a tip for the new freshman: enjoy freshman year as much as possible! After that, college won’t be like American Pie anymore; however, maybe it’s just me because I’m an engineer, but still, it does become harder in general.
Chances are you will be living away from your parents for the first time in your life, and while that seems great at the beginning you will soon miss somebody to cook for you, somebody to do your laundry for you and just in general you’ll miss your mom! You do learn to appreciate everything your parents have done for you; no more daddy to give you money every time you need some either, you will have to learn to administrate it, especially since college is not cheap! Chances are you will be in debt by the time you graduate too, so, welcome to your first step towards real life!
However, I still think it is a great experience and you should take full advantage of it! DO have fun but DO NOT be irresponsible, you have to learn how to balance and manage your time between studying, friends, partying, etc. In the end you won’t regret it! Be careful with all the STDs, drugs and excessive alcohol! And if you do join a fraternity make sure they don’t make you change who you are; too many times I’ve seen people change when they join a fraternity, and not for good… choose wisely.

I’ll be graduating next year from the University of Salford (UK) and I’m studying Business and Management on my second year. Not quite sure where I want to go with it yet but it’s a subject I’m highly interested in and I’m sure that by the time I do graduate I’ll have more of an outlook on what I want to do with my life. Couldn’t agree more with what Mex said too, be responsible and by all means, make mistakes but be sure to learn from them. It’s not always easy and at times you think you won’t be able to do it but you have to soldier on and eventually, you’ll get there and you’ll be a lot happier for it 🙂

So I thought I would jump in here, since im going to graduate HS this semester.
I have 3 possibilities for my college choice:
1: UNC CH(The one with the really good basketball team) with a major of History, particularly in European History, and most likely a Masters there as well(they have a great masters program in history, top 10 in the US).
2: Liberty University(Biggest Christian College in the US) I would do the same degree, major in History, but might minor in business. My thinking was to become a teacher in History, so this college might help me teach in a private school after getting certified.
3: Community College(My third option because I am going there now) I would just get a 2 year basic ed degree and move on to one of the above colleges for my major. Funny thing is, I can get an associate’s degree at 18.
Another funny thing is, I am a senior this school year, but next school year(Spring 2014) I will be a sophmore in College because I will come out of high school with enought creds to be a sophmore.
So that is my plan, but you know, sometimes plans don’t always go the way they are planned.

I had a very different experience with Uni than Mex, freshman year for me i got to know the library staff very very well. purely because you will come across people in your subject area with knowledge you can only dream of, i thought i was very far behind, it turned out my specialisms lay in other areas of that subject, while others were excellent at midi and programming, i was somewhat of a master at recording and manipulating audio. same with composition, i was a pop musician through college (UK system goes primary school, high school, college, university) and primarily played metal/rock etc, i got to uni and found out that i was more suited to more traditional styles. its all about finding your path. i was lucky in that i went to a university that i could travel to from home. an hour traveling per day wasn’t an issue for me. but i know some people who moved away from home and their experiences were very different from my own.

also find out how much your books cost, then find out off an older student what the library fees are, not to condone theft, but i found it was a lot cheaper for me to indefinately borrow books from the uni library than to purchase them. one of my core texts was pushing £100 but to ‘borrow’ it from the library it cost me £40… although that was just laziness on my part in forgetting to renew my book rental.

I currently go to Capitol College in Laurel, Maryland. I just started in the spring semester and I’m going for a degree in Computer Science.

I need to purchase a new hard drive for my PS3 still. Until then, I’ll be inactive there.

The college I’ll probably be attending is called TLOC (The Life of Crime) unfortunately its true. I can do just fine in High school but next year I’ll be with all my old friend and getting into trouble just like old times. But if I did end up going I’d go to MCC (Monroe Community College) for a construction trade or join the Marines to kill shit lol BT might say something bout tht.

I kinda wish that I could say I was still in college, especially because I really enjoyed a lot of my time there, but unfortunately (fortunately?), I graduated last year from The University of Utah with my MFA in Game Production and Development, so I’m a bit out of the “fellow student” circle.

Still though, despite the whole “pay-back-the-student-loans” thing, I’m pretty happy with where life’s taking me, so hooray!

I’m currently going to a community college by My house to get some of My basics done, and I’m planning on transferring to Texas A&M for a double major in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science in the Fall 2015 semester. I’m really intrigued with the hardware side of computers and micro controllers while at the same time I really enjoy the software side too… So that’s why I decided on both, but I haven’t taken any EE classes yet to know how much I enjoy it so I’ll have to find out later if it’s something I really want to stick with. Also the CS degree I know I’m going to stick with because I’ve already taken a couple CS classes and I really enjoy them. Now My dream job I would have to say is to be in Research & Development.
