Soon to drop an old Dell 5000 and upgrade top a new rig. (2003)
The right hand is a XPS with a 5770 in it 3.4 Dual Core (2007)

Neither are very special but i can run 4 eve clients, i have a bog standard dell laptop that runs eve when I’m out and about.

There is an Xbox and Wii into a 32″ round the corner but they are gathering dust

The new rig is looking like a chillblast system at the moment but still working out the finances.

With that gaming rig, why don’t you do much PC gaming? That should run everything on maximum or very high and will do graphics better than what I’ve seen so far from next gen consoles.

My computer set up is kinda awkward and not very comfortable to try and play a game at…plus where I have it now since I moved it gets a good bit of glare. I’ve had the comp for about 4 years and I used to play quite a bit, mainly MMO’s, but now I mostly just play minecraft a bit on the comp and play everything else on a console. Only thing I’ve done since I got it was replace the graphics card about 2 years ago. And yeah, it has ran everything I’ve played on max graphics without lag.

Looks fairly good. I assume you have a normal hard drive as well as the SSD? You won’t fit much on 32GB! 😛

I expect the graphics card and 4GB RAM are the first things you’ll upgrade later. An HD 7870 or GTX 660 would be the best choices with that CPU. Easy to add another 4GB stick when you can afford to. Shame RAM prices are just continuing to go up though.

Overall though, looks like it should be a nice build. Enjoy! 🙂

im just putting the os on the ssd so i can load fast. im gonna add another 4gb ram when i could afford it. and planning to get a 650ti boost for the price. 660 and 7870 are bit too expensive right now,
